Therapist for Moms in Onslow County and across NC, VA, DC, SC, & FL

This is a place for you:
your recovery. your support. your healing.

Specialized therapy for motherhood—the good, the bad, and everything in between.

They say it takes a village. You’re wondering when yours will show up.

Everyone is “so” happy for you and your new baby… but you don’t feel happy. Maybe you're frustrated with your body for not doing what you thought it would or you’re feeling sad knowing that your birth experience wasn’t as magical or as special as you’d hoped. Even with a new little baby attached to you constantly, you’ve never felt so lonely.

This type of exhaustion is different than anything you’ve ever felt before. You're running on empty (physically and emotionally), trying to keep up with endless feedings, little to no sleep, and the pressure to “bounce back” as if nothing’s changed. It’s hard to even find time for yourself, and when you do, there’s always guilt attached to it.

The last thing you feel like doing right now is asking for help, but you know something needs to change.

Therapy with me is…

Validating.

Warm.

Transformative.

Healing.

Supportive.

Compassionate.

How I Work

I come to every session with curiosity and compassion for all the things you've been through.

I know what you've experienced, especially in the postpartum period, can be overwhelming and even traumatic. I offer connection and support, especially in those places where you might not realize you need it yet—because I know how easy it is to lose sight of yourself when you're deep in the trenches of motherhood.

The relationship we build together is at the heart of everything we do.

I’m always looking for ways to help you feel more connected to yourself and to dive deeper into what’s really going on. I’ll take the time to reflect with you on what I notice, help ground our sessions, and create a space where distractions are kept to a minimum so you can really focus.

This work lights me up—watching you take the time to heal and make progress, even when it may feel slow or invisible. I know it’s not easy, but I know that as you continue, you can start to transform in ways you might not even expect. I’m committed to providing an environment for you that’s full of warmth and support as you move through motherhood.

I want to be part of your "village," something we often miss out on in today’s world.

I’m here to listen, to hold space for you, and to show you your story & experiences really matter. I care about helping you reconnect with your own strengths, insights, and awareness. And with that, we can create more room for joy in your life.
